Montrose Lighthouse Shelter has formally dissolved as a nonprofit organization. The Lighthouse is permanently closed and will not reopen this winter. We are no longer providing shelter services or accepting donations or volunteer applications.

To our volunteers, donors, churches, businesses, and community partners: thank you for helping provide warmth, safety, and compassionate care to neighbors experiencing homelessness. Your gifts of time, resources, and encouragement made this work possible.

To our former guests: it was a privilege to welcome you and offer a place of rest during difficult times. You remain an important part of the Lighthouse’s story.

As this chapter closes, we are deeply grateful for the community that supported this mission and the lives touched through your kindness.
