The Lighthouse Shelter is a seasonal emergency shelter in Montrose, Colorado, dedicated to providing a safe, warm space, meals, and essential services to individuals experiencing homelessness. Open from November through May, the shelter offers immediate relief and compassionate support to an average of 22 guests each night during the winter season.

At The Lighthouse, we recognize that homelessness is a complex and growing issue. By meeting basic survival needs, we help increase access to long-term services and solutions. Our mission is rooted in dignity, hope, and the belief that everyone deserves a safe place to sleep and a path forward.
